This GMT is in great, honest vintage condition. The case is in overall great condition with scratches, nicks, and normal signs of wear; the caseback shows some tarnishing. The coin-edge on the caseback is crisp. The inside caseback is stamped "1675." The hallmarks on the back of the lugs are clearly visible and crisp. The back of the lugs have some scratches and some marks from the bracelet. The bevels are still clearly visible and the case has developed a bit of a "sleeve polish" over the years from use. The serial and reference numbers are visible and crisp. The brown "fat font" bezel is in great condition with some scratches and normal wear; it has faded slightly throughout. The dial is in great condition with light patina. The hour markers and hands have developed patina. The lume on the dial has developed patina and aged to an attractive pale yellow, creamy color. The hands have developed patina and the lume in the hands matches the dial nicely. The lume in the GMT hand has a slight crack. This watch has an 18k Oyster rivet bracelet with 12 links and no. 80 end links; the clasp is date stamped "4 71." The bracelet is in overall great, honest condition with some scratches and normal wear throughout. The bracelet has developed a shine to it from wear; the crown on the clasp is still defined. The bracelet has light stretch between the links. The crystal has light wear.
The reference 1675 is the second generation of the original GMT-Master and was produced in several configurations, including this all-gold example. Rolex offered the gold 1675 with either a black dial and black bezel, or a brown dial paired with a brown-and-gold or all-brown bezel, as seen here. This watch features a rich brown dial and bezel, complemented by distinctive yellow-gold nipple hour markers and the iconic “Root Beer” aesthetic. While these GMTs were typically delivered on Jubilee bracelets, this example comes on a date-matching 18k Oyster bracelet, giving it a more sporty, unconventional look.
This watch comes directly from its original owner, who purchased it in 1971 and cherished it over the years. The watch is in overall great, honest condition highlighted by its beautifully aged “fat-font” brown bezel and its Oyster bracelet—details that give it the vintage character collectors seek out. Gold sport watches typically get super worn and/or over polished so its not common to find one in such well preserved condition. We are very excited to present this watch and help find it's next caretaker!
Great and easy transaction. Very professional and communicative. For sure a solid experience.
Great watch and very good help from Sam Berger who catered to my concerns.

Well represented watch in excellent condition. Super fast shipping. My second purchase from Bobs but not my last. Their watches seem to be in better condition than many of the others I’ve seen online.
The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.
I really like this beautiful 1675 with fuchsia bezel.
Quick e-mail responses, systematic
I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
