Pre-owned Rolex Air-King ref 126900 (2023). The Air King had a completely different aesthetic when it was released in 1945, featuring an entry-level dress watch design more on par with the classic Oyster Perpetual. It didn't adopt its sportier, professional-grade look until 2016, when Rolex first released ref. 116900. It borrowed the Milgauss' case, so it was anti-magnetic up to 1,000 gauss and 40mm in diameter. Furthermore, the dial took many design cues from the dashboard instruments developed by Rolex for the Bloodhound Super Sonic car, complete with the famed Rolex Mercedes hands. Fast-forward to 2022 and the release of the Rolex 126900 for sale here. It now has its very own case, complete with a slimmer profile and crown guards, and the dial is decorated with a fully lumed set of hour markers.
