Pre-owned Rolex Yacht-Master II Ref 116680 (2014). Rolex added its iconic regatta timer to its portfolio in 2007. A few years later, the stainless steel ref. 116680 joined the lineup, with the upgraded Mercedes-hand variation you see here coming to market a short while later in 2017. Previous variations had straight stick-style hands and a full set of square-shaped hour markers. The Mark II model swapped the squares at 12 and 6 o'clock for an inverted triangle and rectangular hour markers, respectively. Furthermore, the hands are now in the sportier Mercedes style. It has a "Ring Command Bezel" that connects to the movement and crown, allowing the wearer to adjust each function via the movement. Unfortunately, the collection was discontinued in 2024. However, you can still find examples in excellent secondhand condition on the pre-owned market.

I love my Yacht-Master II 116680 Ceramic Bezel and will be picking up #2 a James Cameron' Sea Dweller very soon.
